Copper Nickel tubes are mainly used for highly corrosive and highly pressure environment in a chemical plant, Oil and Gas Plant, Urea Plant and Seawater Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger. Based on this two factors, a shell and Tube Heat Exchanger designer will have no option but to use Copper Nickel (Resistance to corrosion) and have thickness from 2mm to 3mm (Resistance to internal pressure).

Imagine if there is 500 tubes on the shell and tube Heat exchanger,  the owner will need to spend expensive cost for 500 Copper Nickel  tubes.

The solution is to use a Bimetallic Tubes, produced by our company. The idea is to replace the same thickness of Copper Nickel tubes with two different materials but with the same thickness combined.

By doing so, the overall cost will  be reduced drastically not only on the materials but also on the welding consumables.
